Overview

The Glaelle Mathurin Community Foundation (GMCF) is proud to offer a Tech & Finance program for minority CUNY undergraduate college students. Our Tech & Finance program will provide students with the proper resources, materials and guidance to help them get into their field of study. Selected students will go through a 4-week virtual program. The program will consist of a resume building workshop, mock interview sessions, inspirational DEI talks and networking opportunities with professionals in the Tech and Finance industry.

Eligibility requirements:

​

  • Be enrolled full-time as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior at any CUNY College

  • Be a part of the historically underrepresented group within the Tech & Finance industry

  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher

  • Be either a Software Engineering, Computer Science, or technical related major OR Finance, Accounting, Math or business related major

  • Submit Unofficial College Transcript

  • Submit Two Recommendation Letters

  • Submit your Tech Portfolio; examples (GitHub, Deployed link, detailed project deck or demo video, wireframes)
